Privacy Policy
packset.travel is a packing and travel-reference tool. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have — we collect as little as we can, and no account is required to use the site.
Introduction
At packset.travel, we are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our website and services.
Information We Collect
Information collected automatically when you use our service:
- Usage — Website usage data and interaction patterns
- Device — Device information, browser type, and operating system
- Location — General location information (country/region level)
- Interactions — Clicks, page views, and feature usage
Accounts and sign-in
Signing in is optional and exists for one purpose: to carry the passport country you picked to your other devices. Everything on this site works without an account.
- What we store — Your display name, your email address, an internal account identifier, and — if you picked one — your passport country as a two-letter code. That is the whole record. Google also sends an avatar URL, which we store but never display. Apple sends a name only the very first time you sign in, and sometimes none at all.
- Why we may hold it — Your consent, given by choosing to sign in. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account, and nothing survives that.
- We never email you — There is no newsletter, no notification and no mailing list. The site has no mail sending at all, so your address is only ever an identifier.
- What signing in changes for analytics — If you have accepted analytics cookies, signing in links this browser's earlier anonymous activity to a persistent identifier, so it can be recognised across your devices. We send our own account identifier only — never your name, email address or avatar. If you have not accepted analytics cookies, nothing is sent.
- Two ways in, one account — Signing in with Google and with Apple lands on the same account by itself when both give us the same verified email address. If you choose Apple's Hide My Email, Apple gives us a relay address instead, we cannot tell it is you, and that first sign-in creates a second, separate account. You can join them yourself: signed in on one, the account page offers to connect the other, and there the addresses do not have to match — you have already proved the account is yours by being signed in to it.
- Deleting your account — Open your account page and choose Delete account. Both records — the account itself and the saved passport — are removed immediately and completely. Nothing is archived, and there is no waiting period and no email to send.

Microsoft Clarity

PostHog
Privacy-focused product analytics. Identified analytics runs only after you accept; some events are also collected server-side in anonymized, cookieless, aggregated form under our legitimate interest.
Google Sign-In
Google Sign-In. Used only to sign you in and to tell us your name and email address. We request no other permissions and call no Google service afterwards.
Sign in with Apple
Sign in with Apple. Used only to sign you in and to tell us your email address, plus your name if Apple sends one. We request no other permissions and call no Apple service afterwards. If you choose Hide My Email, Apple gives us a relay address rather than your own.
Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary:
- Analytics — 26 months — retained in aggregate for product insight, then deleted.
- Server logs — 90 days — kept for security and diagnostics.
Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption — Data encryption in transit and at rest
- Access control — Restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on our website.
