- 108+ other nationalities (including the USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Australia and Canada) can get a visa on arrival or apply for the e-Visa in advance.
- A smaller 'referral' list (e.g. Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and stateless/refugee travellers) must apply online only, with government referral approval required roughly 2 months in advance — no visa on arrival.
- Standard e-Visa processing takes about 10 working days (excluding referral cases). US citizens are issued a multiple-entry visa for tourism specifically.
