- Most visitors must complete the free Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) online within 3 days before arrival, via the official portal imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac. Singapore nationals and certain categories are exempt.
- Many nationalities (including US, UK, EU and Australia) may enter visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days; some nationalities require a visa or eVISA via malaysiavisa.imi.gov.my.
- Passport must be valid at least 6 months on arrival, with proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds.
