Airports for Nagoya
Chubu Centrair (NGO)
Nagoya's international gateway, built on an artificial island in Ise Bay. The Meitetsu μ-SKY limited express reaches Nagoya station in about 28 minutes — reserve the μ-SKY seat, the local trains take twice as long.
Kansai (KIX)
Osaka's international airport has far more long-haul and low-cost routes than Centrair. Allow about 2.5 hours to Nagoya via the Haruka express and the Tokaido Shinkansen — covered by a Japan Rail Pass if you hold one.
