- Many nationalities can enter Uzbekistan visa-free: citizens of most EU states, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UAE and others for up to 30 days.
- CIS neighbours (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) enter visa-free without a fixed day limit; Kyrgyzstan up to 60 days; Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and China (including Hong Kong and Macao) up to 10 days.
- Nationals not on the visa-free list can apply for an electronic visa (e-visa) online before travelling, through the official government e-visa portal.
- Official e-visa fees: single-entry US$20; double-entry (up to 30 days) US$35; multiple-entry (up to 30 days) US$50; group e-visa from US$20 per person.
- A visa-free regime for tourism of up to 30 days also applies to citizens of China (in tourist groups), the USA and Vietnam who are aged 55 or over.
