- The Bahamas requires a visa from nationals of a designated list of ~71 countries (e.g. Afghanistan, Cuba, Egypt, Haiti, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Vietnam, Yemen and others) — check the ministry's full list for a specific passport.
- Special case: Indian nationals who hold a valid visa for, or permanent residence in, the US, UK, Canada or a Schengen country do not need a Bahamas visa; Indian diplomatic/official passport holders are also exempt; all other Indian nationals require a visa.
