About London Gatwick (LGW)

London Gatwick is the capital's second-busiest airport, sitting south of the city in West Sussex, and is famous as the world's busiest single-runway airport. It is a major base for easyJet and leans heavily towards European short-haul and leisure routes, alongside a growing set of long-haul services with carriers such as British Airways, TUI, Norse and Emirates.
The airport has two terminals, North and South, linked by a free automated shuttle that takes a couple of minutes. Your airline determines which terminal you use, so confirm yours before travelling, as switching after check-in wastes time. Both terminals offer the usual shops, food outlets and pay-in lounges.
